Terms and conditions of use

1. Your acceptance of this agreement

1.1. The Terms and Conditions apply to sales contracts with private and business customers through the website of Veetreo. The buyer confirms to have read and understood the Terms and Conditions by clicking the “Check-Box” before entering credit card details in the Checkout-Process.

1.2. The contract is complete when the buyer has paid for the goods in full and the payment has been confirmed. The order will be confirmed by Veetreo by separate communication.

1.3. The terms and conditions can be changed by Veetreo at any time without further notice.

2. Pricing & Shipping

2.1. All prices are stated in GBP, ex warehouse Veetreo, Unit 15G Elsecar Heritage Centre Wath Road, Elsecar Barnsley, S74 8HJ, exclusive of VAT.

2.2. Our prices are binding at the time of order. Veetreo always endeavours to provide current and accurate information on the Website. However, pricing errors may sometimes occur. We reserve the right to: (a) correct any prices or pricing errors at any time without prior notice or liability to you or any other person; (b) reject, correct, cancel or terminate any order, including accepted orders for any reason.

2.3. Shipping and packaging fee (S&P fee) will be listed separately. In cases where S&P fee is found to differ from the shown values after the item is packed for shipment, the buyer will be contacted immediately. This will also apply if the automated shipping charging system on our website makes a mistake with the amount charged.

2.4. Delivery is free for orders over £25.00. A charge of £3.75 is made for orders below this value. Some bulky or heavy items will incur an extra shipping charge. This will be stated in the description of the item.

2.5. Packages with free delivery are generally dispatched within 2 days after receipt of payment and are shipped via Royal Mail (2-3 working days) untracked with drop-off without signature. If you prefer a faster delivery by a tracked service with optional required signature, an additional cost will be applied and options will be available in the checkout system. If you choose a tracked service we will provide you with a link to track your package online.

2.6. Shipping fees include handling and packing fees as well as postage costs. Handling fees are fixed, whereas transport fees for tracked services vary according to total weight of the shipment. Your package will be dispatched at your own risk, but special care is taken to protect fragile objects.


2.7. Orders over 30kg will be delivered by freight forwarder. Shipping costs will be charged depending on the delivery area upon advance. The final amount will be notified by email or phone when the product is ready.

3. Shipment

3.1. Delivery is made within 2-10 working days, depends on shipping zone. If any longer delivery time is necessary, the buyer will be informed immediately. A delivery delay does not entitle the buyer to claim damages or to cancel the contract.

3.2. Risk of delivery of goods shall pass to the buyer when the shipment has left Veetreo.

3.3. If a product, contrary to the web shop information is not on stock, the buyer will be contacted or the value of the missing item will be refunded.

4. Right of Withdrawal

4.1. Customers have the right to withdraw from the contract within 7 calendar days from receipt of goods in writing. The return shipment of goods is at the risk and expense of the buyer.

4.2. Contact Veetreo to ask for a returns authorisation number which is needed before any item is returned.

4,3. Any items returned without the authorisation number will not be accepted and the package risks being lost.

4.4. The Product must be returned in perfect condition, complete and in its original packaging. Otherwise we reserve the right to withhold a proportional value.

4.6. Exempt from the right of withdrawal are books and templates. Also, Special Order or items altered in any way specifically for the customer may not be returned.

5. Liability and warranty

5.1. The warranty is 12 months (excluded are wearing parts, batteries and other specifically labelled products). Claims must be made by means of a receipt or invoice. The return is at the cost and risk of the buyer.

5.2. Excluded from warranty are slight variations (colour, size and weight), normal signs of wear and damages caused by improper handling.

5.3. The buyer is obliged to inspect the goods immediately and report damages within 7 days.

5.4. In the case of a defect, the buyer has the right of free repair, an appropriate discount or replacement. The decision on this depends on the type of defect and will be made by Veetreo.

6. Payment

6.1. We accept Pay Pal, Credit Cards (Visa and Mastercard etc...), as well immediate wire transfer. The value will be charged immediately.

6.2. The goods remain property of Veetreo until payment has been made in full.

7. Governing law and Dispute Resolution

7.1. This Agreement, your access to and use of the Website, and all related matters are governed solely by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any dispute between you and Veetreo or any other person arising from, connected with or relating to the Website, this Agreement, or any related matters (collectively "Disputes") will be resolved before the British Court, and you hereby irrevocably submit to the original and exclusive jurisdiction of this court in respect of all Disputes.


How do we collect information about you?

In any interaction you may have with Veetreo Glass & Gaia Crystals, we collect information in two possible ways:

1. When you directly give it to us (“Direct Data”) When you visit our website, register for an account with us, purchase our products, or communicate with us, you may choose to voluntarily give us certain information – for example, by filling in text boxes, or clicking on active buttons on our site, like ‘Add to Basket’. All this information requires a direct action by you in order for us to collect or process it.

When our systems collect information or data as you use our website (“System Data”) When you visit and use our website, there is information collected automatically about your visit that is necessary to operate our website service. When you click to add an item to your wishlist, the information about the product is recorded so that the item then appears in the Wishlist section of your account.

Yes - We generate lists which show us which customers have added an item to their wishlist so that we can notify them by phone or email when it is back in stock.

When you login, you will need to submit your email address and password. This is so that our systems can log you into the correct account.

Making a purchase (including adding/removing items from your basket

Adding and removing items from your shopping basket, or updating the quantity of an item in the basket requires a direct button click action by you. Cookies track this so that items remain in your basket as you navigate the website, or so that if you leave the website before checking out the items are still in your basket when you next login.  When you proceed to checkout you will need to choose a delivery option. You’ll also need to submit an invoicing address, a delivery address and credit/debit card details depending on your chosen payment method. When you click to submit your order, the information about your order becomes available in the ‘Order History’ and ‘Previously Ordered Items’ sections on the website.

The information gathered when items are added/removed from your basket, and the information about delivery options is not personally identifiable. However payment information and delivery and invoicing information is personally identifiable.

Contacting Customer Care or a Sale Representative

When you contact Customer Care, they will need to verify that you are the account holder to prevent fraudulent activity. In order for them to verify who you are, they will need to ask you questions related to your account that personally identify you. Information about your query may also be recorded so that we can research into the matter in order to provide a solution.

When you contact us on social media. We can view the profile information you have chosen to share. This can be restricted by updating your privacy settings on the platform itself. If you ask us a question about your order, we may ask you for your email address and order number so that we can verify who we are speaking with before revealing any information about the order in question.

If you view or click on emails that we have sent you, or on banners, hyperlinks or plugins we have placed on our website or other websites, both the fact that you have done so, as well as the address of the site you were on when you did so, is Directly Provided Data that we will record. We will use this information to track and analyse how successful those emails, banners, hyperlinks or plugins are in engaging with you.
